Nero, the not so easy boerboel!

Yes, this dog is the kind to give your patience a test. What we consider a not easy to handle animal. I have him under control, happy, and his spirit is in tact. Nero was supposed to go to a loving home Jan. 1, 2008. Nero went lame on me Dec. 31. I will be his last home and keep him comfortable. He is my special boy. I will always have the scars on my arms to remember him, lol. I love him dearly.

My runt, little Maccabee!

This is my little Maccabee. He is a very good dog. Easy out in public, but responds quickly to danger. Maccabee has one leg shorter in front. This is a result of an operation to save the leg. He can really run on it when he wants and does play rough with his brother still. Maccabee barks and Assero comes running. Assero is the one who guards the fence lines.

Life is Boerboel Good!

Here are some pics of Garth and Assero on March 12, 2008! Assero was not in the mood for the little fellow today, but he tolerated him and they did have fun. Check out that action shot, so hard to get. These dogs are very fast for their size.
